Personal Growth with Michael and Carolyn

At Loveworks, we believe that one of the ways that you can become one of the best versions of yourself is to focus on personal growth. We love curating things like books, music, organizations, blogs, or resources that have encouraged your personal growth.

Today we are going to share a quote we believe will inspire and encourage you to keep dreaming

“I used to be afraid of failing at something that really mattered to me, but now I’m more afraid of succeeding at things that don’t matter.” ― Bob Goff

“No dream or goal is too big and you will never know the outcome unless you follow through.” – #kindleader – from Riley’s Way Foundation.

IAN’s ADVICE –

I would encourage all middle schoolers and high schoolers to strive to become your best self. You have to figure out how to get yourself on the right track. Riley’s way is about being able to change as a human and not being so hard on yourself and the people around you. I would encourage people to figure out what things they need to do to get themselves to feel great. You’re all amazing, you’re all special. Figure out how to take care of yourself because if you feel good about yourself, you can wear that smile on your face like Riley did. You can shine out to others and you will make those around you better. It starts by being kind to yourself and really figuring out your own individual recipe.

Key Takeaways:

  • Do your best at whatever you do
  • The magic comes from providing the tools and support others need to pursue their dreams
  • Be kind to yourself
  • Anything you can do calmly you will do better
  • If you feel good about yourself you can make those around you better
