Without a doubt, several things have happened this year that are out of our control that could serve as distractions. From a presidential impeachment to a global pandemic, civil unrest, a busy hurricane season, the loss of a Supreme Court Justice, the list could go on and on.
Negativity will go as far as you let it.
I’m sure you have heard this from you mom, dad, teacher, coach, or have shared this advice with your own kiddos. Do you want to be part of the problem or part of the solution?
Life has not been easy, harder for some than for others. Regardless of where you find yourself on the spectrum, either just wanting this year to be over or willing to make the best of your glass of lemonade, I wanted to pass along a question that has both challenged and inspired me.
Get ready, this is a challenging question that puts the ball back into your court.
What are you going to do to make 2020 memorable beyond circumstances that are outside of your control?
We have 99 days left in this year!
I want to learn from those “distractions” but I also do not want to be defined by them.
I’d love for you to comment in the box below or on social media on how you are going to live your next 99 days to position yourself as a student, parent, spouse, or professional not only to remember this year for the events outside of your control, but for how you made yourself and the world around you better.
Keep it up. You’ve got it!
