Anna Boucher: Dental Hygiene Student at OU College of Dentistry
Anna was born and raised in Lawton, Oklahoma, but currently resides in Oklahoma City. She attended the University of Oklahoma graduating with a Bachelors in Psychology. She spent her time being involved with leadership through organizations like OU Dance Marathon and LoveWorks. Anna is currently studying Dental Hygiene at the OU College of Dentistry. She enjoys being her class Vice President, conducting student research, and serving at Good Shepherd. Upon graduation in May, she plans on working in a pediatric office where she can create a positive experience for patients and to be the difference for them. Her emphasis is on recognizing health literacy and patient education.
Anna’S ADVICE –
Don’t be afraid of “no’s”. No doesn’t mean “never” it just means “not yet”. When you really want something, keep trying and do things that will lead you to where you want to be. Look at the big picture, you may work for a long time but do not lose sight of your dream and remember the journey is where you need to keep focused on your dream.
