Les Thomas Sr was born and raised in Oklahoma City. He has nearly a 20 year background as an accountant for the United States Air Force, but you may not guess that with what he’s up to these days. Les is the Area Director for Youth for Christ, USA in Oklahoma City as well as the bombastic Gameday Host for the OSU Cowboys so you may or definitely will hear Les at a football game or basketball game serving up even more energy than the crowd, that’s the powerhouse we’re about to meet. He’s also an avid musician and author of the book Three Levels of Influence, a book on the power of mentorship.
Les’ ADVICE –
Don’t die with your gifts, your talents. Know that you are created for greatness. There will be obstacles and you can overcome them. That is the journey, the story people want to hear. Be ready for the moment. Don’t let fear or failures overtake you. Know that you are wonderfully and fearfully made. No matter what you are facing, even if you’ve made a mistake, that’s not who you are. Make sure you don’t take your gifts to the grave. Squeeze your life out like a lemon and do everything to make a difference on this earth!
- Your mistakes don’t define you
- The difference between good people vs great people
- Preparation happens when no one is looking
