Tim Herbel: Founder of Not Your Average Joe Coffee Shop

Tim is the founder of Not Your Average Joe coffee shop. He grew up in  Hooker Oklahoma surrounded by family members who served the community in a variety of ways. Tim created Compadres Coffee, a white label roaster, providing fresh coffee beans for local coffee shops. After entering some blind taste testing competitions (and WINNING!) he noticed a trend. The coffee that continued to win was called “Not Your Average Joe”.  In 2018, Tim was approached by a coffee shop in Midtown OKC with the opportunity to rebrand and open the first, Not Your Average Joe which would not only serve exceptional coffee in an encouraging atmosphere but inspire the community by including ​adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities into their business.  Today, there are 3 locations including Midtown, Broken Arrow, and right here in Norman.

BeeCandle is a beeswax candle company that offers candles that clean the air, not pollute it. They come in small and large sizes in either unscented or lavender.
