Thank you for checking out our monthly donor newsletter to get the chance to look at all the good that’s been created this month through the investment of our donors and business partnerships!
At Loveworks we believe you are NEVER too young to be a dreamer and NEVER too old to do your dream. We are committed to helping students discover their potential and pursue their BIG dreams with programs that focus on building character, leadership development, and entrepreneurialism. Through mentorship and experiential learning, students are equipped to make positive life choices, empowered to solve problems, and explore career paths.

That’s a wrap! Our annual Business Boot Up week culminated with a phenomenal pitch presentation event that left our judges and parents in awe of the amount of creativity and determination from each business group to bring their product to market! Students spent five days five days of hands-on experiential learning to develop a product, learn budgeting skills, market like pro, sell with confidence, and create actionable connections through networking. The winning business will travel later this month to Tulsa on their first business trip to further develop their newly attained entrepreneurship skills.

In June students began harvesting fruits and vegetables from the Loveworks Community Garden to sell at the Norman Farm Market. We are thrilled that through our partnership with Peach Crest Ranch, who sponsor the garden, we are able to offer another opportunity for students to develop their leadership and entrepreneurship skills. Stay tuned for more updates as this group develops potentially sharing farm to table produce with our community year-round!

For the last 9 years, the Interurban Golf Classic has benefitted Loveworks Leadership, an organization supported by and chosen by Rusty Loeffler and the late Robert Ross. This year, we decided to change the name of the tournament as a tribute to the great life that “Rosser” led and the legacy he leaves. With 29 teams, 116 players, 31 sponsors and 5 student businesses the charity tournament was a resounding success.
We are hopeful that you see how the support of our donors and business partners directly impacts the heart of our students and their families. Thank you to our donors and volunteers for being part of our story and investing in the lives of our students at Loveworks!
